Eren Akkan est professeur associé à la Kedge Business School. Il a obtenu son doctorat à l'IESE Business School, en Espagne. Ses recherches portent sur la mobilité internationale, le travail mondial, la gestion d'une main-d'œuvre diversifiée et la nature changeante des modalités de travail. Dans ces domaines, il étudie des questions telles que la manière dont les gens réagissent aux transitions majeures, l'évolution des relations sociales et l'impact de la mobilité sur les transformations sociétales et culturelles. Ses travaux ont été publiés dans des revues telles que le Journal of International Business Studies, Human Resource Management et le Journal of Occupational and Organizational Psychology. Il donne des cours sur la gestion interculturelle, le comportement organisationnel, la gestion des ressources humaines et les méthodes de recherche. Avant d'entrer dans le monde universitaire, il a occupé des postes d'ingénieur, de gestionnaire de projet et de gestionnaire de compte dans de grandes organisations multinationales des secteurs des télécommunications et des technologies de l'information.
